Easter

This past weekend at the campground was one to remember—filled with laughter, adventure, and a little bit of unpredictable weather. Our Easter scavenger hunt had a little twist. Instead of hunting for eggs, participants hunted for letters that represnted various items to help them unscramble the letters. Once all the letters were found then you could unscramble the letters to decipher the secret word. Now, we can’t talk about the weekend without mentioning the weather. While it may not have been the sunshine-filled day we envisioned, it certainly didn’t dampen the spirit of our amazing campers. A little chill in the air and a few gray clouds didn’t stop anyone from getting out. In fact, it made the experience even more memorable—because sometimes the best moments come when things don’t go as planned. As we celebrated Easter, we were reminded that it’s about so much more than eggs and candy. At its heart, Easter is a time of hope, renewal, and new beginnings. It’s a celebration of faith, love, and the promise of brighter days ahead. Even in less-than-perfect conditions, that message shines through—just like it did this weekend.
